Mumbai: Veteran stunt and action choreographer, Veeru Devgn took his last breath in Mumbai on Monday. Devoting 45 years to the Hindi film fraternity, Veeru took his last call in a super specialty hospital in Mumbai.
His health started deteriorating for a long time and had worsened in the last few days. He was admitted to Surya Hospital in Santa Cruz, Mumbai. His funeral will be held at Vile Parle crematorium at 6 pm.
Veeru, known for his famous stunt and action choreography has worked in more than 80 films. Apart from this, he also directed the film 'Hindustan Ki Kasam'.
Senior Devgn has effortlessly contributed to the Bollywood film industry. From being an action choreographer, he has successfully managed to pull off the roles as an actor, producer, writer, director and assistant director.
He appeared as an actor in films like Kranti (1981), Saurabh (1979) and Sinhasan (1986). His best films include 'Phool aur Kante', 'Himmatwala', 'Prem Rog', 'Kranti', 'Do aur Do Paanch'.
He was last seen in public on February 21, 2019, in the screening of Ajay Devgn's film 'Total Dhamal'.
