Ajay Devgn urges all to donate for Mumbai's COVID-19 epicentre

Actor Ajay Devgn has asked one and all to extend help to the residents of Dharavi, Asia's largest slum in Mumbai, since it has become the epicentre of the pandemic coronavirus. The actor himself has taken the responsibility of 700 families.

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has appealed to all to donate for the residents of Dharavi, Asia's largest slum located in Mumbai, which has become the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic in the city.

Ajay Devgn himself has taken the responsibility of 700 families.

"Dharavi is at the epicentre of the Covid19 outbreak. Many citizens supported by MCGM are working tirelessly on ground through NGOs to provide the needy with ration and hygiene kits. We at ADFF are helping 700 families. I urge you to also donate," tweeted the actor.

In other news, Ajay also lauded the Dabangg star Sonu Sood for helping stranded labourers to return their native places.

Devgn took to Twitter to laud Sood for his 'exemplary' work.

"The sensitive nature of the work that you are doing with sending migrant workers back to their homes safely is exemplary. More strength to you, Sonu @SonuSood #IndiaFightsCorona #StayHomeStaySafe," tweeted Devgn.
