Hyderabad: Actor-producer Ajay Devgn has shared the trailer of his upcoming film Bhuj: The Pride of India. The period war-action movie follows IAF Squadron Leader and then Bhuj airport in-charge Vijay Karnik, played by Devgn, who reconstructed an entire IAF airbase along with the help of 300 women from a local village in Madhapar to protect the country.
On Monday morning, Ajay took to social media to share Bhuj: The Pride of India trailer and wrote, "When bravery becomes your armour, every step leads you to victory! 💯 Experience the untold story of the greatest battle ever fought, #BhujThePrideOfIndia."

Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj: The Pride of India also features actors Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and Ammy Virk. The film is set amid the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Ajay will be seen essaying the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in the film. For the unversed, Karnik was in charge of the Bhuj airbase during the 1971 war, which remained operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan.

Bhuj: The Pride Of India has been written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria. It is presented by T-Series and Ajay Devgn's banner ADFFilms and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, and Bunny Sanghavi under the banner of Select Media Holdings.
The makers have scheduled Bhuj: The Pride of India's digital release on the Independence Day weekend on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
