Tanushree recently asked Hrithik to take a stand against Vikas Bahl who has been acquitted of rape allegations. The filmmaker who was earlier exempted of his duties as a director of Roshan starrer 'Super 30' has been reinstated.
However, Tanushree didn't approve of Bahl's exoneration of the charges levelled against him during the heat of #MeToo movement.
Speaking to a leading daily, the actress stated Bahl's acquittal as complete injustice. “This is ghor kalyug!,” she said.
“What is this Reliance committee? Who are the members of this committee? Reliance committees are giving clean chits while law and order and police investigation is still pending? Of course, all these committees will give clean chits. They are made up of such people. Clean chit is valid only when police or judiciary of India gives it. The rest is corruption,” Tanushree vent out her anger.
The 'Aashique Banaya Aapne' actor further questioned the committee which gave a clean chit to the filmmaker calling it a 'PR stunt'.

Tanushree also urged Hrithik to take a stand on the matter saying that reinstating someone accused of sexual misconduct is not acceptable.
Earlier, it was also reported that Vikas would not be credited as the director of 'Super 30'. Reportedly, Reliance Entertainment, which held a 50% stake in Phantom Films, held an internal inquiry that cleared the filmmaker of all the charges giving him a clean chit.
'Super 30' is an inspirational story about the attempts of the dedicated teachers to give students the best shot at cracking the tough IIT-JEE entrance examination. Hrithik will be seen playing a mathematician in the film.
The trailer will be out on June 4. The movie is releasing on July 12.
