Mumbai: The godown of Karan Johar's film production company Dharama Productions gutted in fire at the early hours of April 30th. More than financial loss, the fire which broke out at Cama Industrial Estate in Goregaon near Mumbai engulfed valuable memorabilia collection which was treasured here from years.
According to reports, a massive fire broke out in a storage unit of Dharma Productions in Goregaon. The fire, that started at wee hours, engulfed valuable memorabilia of props, books and costumes.
Reports suggest that nearly a dozen fire engines were deployed to put out the fire, which started from floor one of Dharma Productions and gradually spread over third floor.
According to a leading daily report, the officials are yet to identify the source of the fire which spread swiftly due to a chemical godown. During fire extinguishing operation, an officer got injured and was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared stable.
