Mumbai: A case has been registered against Aditya Pancholi at Versova Police Station. The Bollywood actor-producer has been booked for rape by the Mumbai Police based on the complaint filed by an actress.
According to the police, the case is ten-years-old and hence it is difficult to prove the authenticity of the matter. However, an FIR has been registered and investigation has already started.
The actress stated in her complaint that Aditya has raped her many times. Earlier, she had filed a written complaint against the actor.
The victim had earlier claimed that Pancholi abused her when she was 17 years old. She also went to the police but the producer was left with a warning.
However, this is not the first time that Aditya has been called out for misconduct. He was earlier accused of violence and physical abuse by actress Kangana Ranaut.
Following Kangana's accusations, Aditya filed a case of defamation against Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel.
Interestingly, earlier this month, Pancholi expressed his fear of being falsely charged for rape to the Mumbai Police.
