Mumbai: Bollywood actress Tanuja was admitted at Lilavati Hospital after suffering pain in abdomen on Tuesday.
Tanuja's daughter and actress Kajol was snapped visiting the hospital on Tuesday night.
Reportedly, the accomplished actress was admitted to the hospital last month only. However, the actual illness wasn't disclosed.
Tanuja is a prominent actress whose recent notable appearances have been in films like 'Pitruroon', 'A Death in the Gunj', 'Aarambh' and 'Sonar Pahar'.

She is known for films like 'Memdidi', 'Chand Aur Suraj', 'Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi', 'Jewel Thief', 'Nai Roshni', 'Jeene Ki Raah', 'Haathi Mere Saathi', 'Anubhav', 'Mere Jeevan Saathi' and 'Do Chor.'
A day before, Kajol's father-in-law and action director Veeru Devgn passed away after a prolonged illness.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Ayan, Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Raza Murad and Suniel Shetty had paid their last respects to the late action master.
