Actor Sonu Sood adopts 4 daughters of Uttarakhand disaster victim

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has once again emerged as a messiah after adopting four daughters of a man who had lost his life in the floods in Uttarakhand on February 7.

Rishikesh: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has adopted four daughters of a man who had lost his life in the floods in Uttarakhand recently.

According to reports, 45-year-old Alam Singh Pundir, who worked as an electrician in the Tapovan Hydropower project, died due to the glacier burst in Uttarakhand.

After Pundir's demise, his family of five-person including her wife left devastated. On being informed about this incident, Sood came forward and adopted four daughters of the deceased man.

The deceased has four daughters--Anchal (14), Antara (11), Kajal (8), and Ananya (2). He also assured to help the four children to receive education and get married.

Sood, who was informed about the demise of the man on Twitter, said that the family is “his own” from now onwards. The family members of the deceased, in turn, thanked the actor.

Actor Sonu Sood has been generously helping the people in need ever since the lockdown came into effect in India due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
