Actor Mishti Mukherjee passes away after renal failure

Actor Mishti Mukherjee breathed her last on Friday night in Bengaluru. The 27-year-old actor passed away after enduring a lot of pain after renal failure, official statement reads.

Mumbai: Actor Mishti Mukherjee has passed away due to renal failure.

Mishti died on Friday night and a statement issued a day later confirmed the demise. Last rites of the 27-year-old actor were performed on Saturday.

"Actress Mishti Mukherjee who marked her brilliance in many films and music videos with her ace acting is no more. Due to keto diet, her kidney failed in Bangalore and she breathed her last on Friday night, the actress suffered a lot of pain. Unforgettable and unfortunate loss. May her soul rest in peace. She is survived by her parents and brother," read the statement.

Actor Kashmera Shah was one of those who paid her respects to Mishti and expressed her condolences to the family.

The actor had appeared in a number of music videos and was seen in Juhi Chawla starrer Main Krishna Hoon in 2013. She had performed a dance number Govinda Aale Re alongside Rajneesh Duggal in the film.
