Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up to essay the role of a politician in filmmaker Dinesh Vijan's upcoming film. The actor will be seen playing a 10th fail Chief Minister in the film titled Dasvi.

According to reports, Abhishek will commence shooting for Dasvi in Agra. Directed by debutante filmmaker Tushar Jalota, Dasvi is a political comedy-drama laced with message about the importance of education in today's society. Abhishek will be seen essaying the character of a 10th failed Chief Minister. Dasvi also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles. Yami has taken the method route for her role of a Haryanvi girl in the film. She is taking lessons in the Haryanvi language as well as honing her dialect, and also working on nuances of body language for her role in Dasvi.
