Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who has recently recovered from COVID-19, has reportedly resumed shooting for his much-anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha.
According to reports, Aamir will resume Laal Singh Chaddha shoot from today in Mumbai. The makers are aiming to complete a short schedule. While a war sequence has been planned in Ladakh, the team decided to can few sequences in Mumbai before they head for an extremely intense schedule in Kashmir. The recommencement of the Laal Singh Chaddha shoot is taking place with minimal crew and all necessary precautions.

Last week, Aamir's son Junaid Khan recommenced shooting for his debut film Maharaja in Mumbai. After Aamir returning to sets, Akshay Kumar too will kickstart shoot for Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan which also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role.

Laal Singh Chaddha sees Aamir stepping into the shoes of Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks as it is a Hindi remake of 1994 film Forrest Gump. It features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Telugu star Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. Besides essaying the title role, Aamir is also bankrolling the film. The film is slated for Christmas 2021 release but possibilities of it missing the release date are high as the shooting had to be halted twice due to pandemic.
