Panaji: Bollywood actor Poonam Pandey (29) on Tuesday filed an FIR against her husband Sam Ahmed at South Goa's Canacona police station.
In the FIR filed under Sections 323, 504, 354 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, the actor has alleged that the accused Sam Ahmed Bombay (46), her spouse, had assaulted and slapped her besides threatening her with dire consequences over a "personal dispute".

The duo was married on September 10 this year and both are on a visit to Goa on a holiday.

After tying the knot with Sam, the actor had shared a few pictures of her from the wedding on Instagram. While she was dressed in traditional embroidered floral lehanga, Sam opted for a colour-coordinated sherwani.
Poonam captioned the picture with, "Here's looking forward to seven lifetimes with you," to which Sam replied, "The beginning of forever," he wrote.

Unfortunately, the "forever" and "seven lifetimes" bond has apparently hit the rock bottom within a fortnight of married life.
