Asus refreshes laptop range at CES 2021
Taiwanese electronics giant Asus on Wednesday, Jan 13 showcased a wide variety of new laptops at the ongoing Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2021. The company launched ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582), ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482), VivoBook S14 (S435), and the TUF Dash gaming laptop. Gene therapy strategy found effective in mouse model of hereditary disease TSC
Tuberous sclerosis complex disease can be treated in mice with gene therapy, using an adeno-associated virus vector carrying the DNA that codes for a condensed form of tuberin The gene, called TSC2, codes for tuberin, a protein that acts to inhibit cell growth and proliferation. When the mice were injected intravenously with the gene therapy treatment, however, their average survival was extended to 462 days, and their brains showed reduced signs of damage. Read More.
