Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE are now available for buyers on the newly opened Apple Online Store in India.
Jeff Williams, Apple's chief operating officer said, “With powerful new features, including a Blood Oxygen sensor and app, Apple Watch becomes even more indispensable by providing further insight into overall well-being.”
This year, Apple will collaborate with the University of California, Irvine, and Anthem to examine how longitudinal measurements of blood oxygen and other physiological signals can help manage and control asthma.
Separately, Apple will work closely with investigators at the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research and the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at the University Health Network, one of the largest health research organizations in North America, to better understand how blood oxygen measurements and other Apple Watch metrics can help with the management of heart failure.
Apple Fitness+ Features:
Fitness+ is a new subscription service launching before the end of the year that includes training for yoga, cycling, running, core, and strength exercises, among other types of workouts. Apple Fitness+ intelligently incorporates metrics from Apple Watch for users to visualize right on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, offering a first-of-its-kind personalized workout experience.

We know Fitness+ will take working out with Apple Watch to the next level with unparalleled engagement, convenience, and inspiration.”
Fitness+ will be available to Apple Watch customers as a subscription service before the end of 2020 for $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Everyone can try Fitness+ free for one month. At launch, Apple Fitness+ will be available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA.
Family Setup in WatchOS 7:
Apple Watch Family Setup, which allows you to pair multiple Apple Watch devices to the same iPhone. Children with new features such as automatic location notifications and a school time mode that has restricted interactions with the watch during school and can even access Emergency SOS at any time.
It will be available on Wednesday, September 16, as a free software update and requires cellular models of Apple Watch Series 4 or later or Apple Watch SE running watchOS 7, paired with iPhone 6s or later running iOS 14.
WatchOS 7 features seven new watch face options including Chronograph Pro and GMT plus new watch face configurations users can curate, discover, and share with others.
All-new band styles:
- Ultralight Solo Loop introduces a continuous and stretchable band design that comes in two materials: soft silicone and braided yarn.
- Apple Watch Nike now comes with new colours for the Nike Sport Band and Nike Sport Loop, and a new Nike Compact watch face allows for multiple Nike Run Club complications.
- Apple Watch Hermès introduces the Hermès Attelage Single Tour and slimmer Attelage Double Tour bands, along with new colours of classic band styles.
