Domestic smartphone maker Lava Mobiles on Thursday, Jan, unveiled the world's first customizable smartphone that allows customers to choose the component. The handsets, Lava Z1, Z2, Z4, and Z6, are aimed at the budget category with prices starting at Rs 5,499. For all the sports enthusiasts, the company also introduced its first smart band, BeFit.

• It also enables you to access your E-mails, calls, etc.
• It helps in GPS tracking, provides vibration alerts, telemedicine integration, etc.

BeFit will be available on amazon.in, www.lavamobiles.com, and all offline stores at a price of Rs.2,699 from 26 January.

Lava also launched myZ program which allows you to customize your phone according to your choice.

• You can customize the RAM ranging from 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, 6GB and storage ranging from 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
• You also have an option to select between a dual 13+2MP rear camera or a triple 13+5+2MP rear camera.
• You can even customize your phone with an 8MP or 16MP front camera.
• It also gives you an option to choose the colour of your phone, between blue and red.

That's not all, the company also introduced the Zup service. It allows you to upgrade your phone RAM and ROM at a price of Rs.1,949. The upgrade is only applicable in Z2, Z4, Z6, and myZ.
