Among the many charging stations, Google Maps will recommend the best one for an efficient route and all this will happen in just 10 seconds. You can see how long each charge will take and your updated total trip time.

If your travel is going to be for a shorter period and you only require to charge once, select the best charging station which will fit your route. This you can select from a list of recharge points in Google Maps. In case you have a membership, you can decide which charging stations are the fastest and select one. You will also be able to find which one is close to a grocery store or a coffee shop, depending on your plan of traveling.

Google Maps also shows which mode of payment these charging stations will accept. This is applicable to European countries. As per Google, this will soon reach out to other countries as well.

These new features are now rolling out for cars with Google Maps built-in, currently the Polestar 2 and Volvo XC40 Recharge, with more car models to come.
