Bharatpur: In a shocking incident, a minor girl of Rupbas area in Rajasthan's Bharatpur was allegedly raped by her cousin brothers on Wednesday wee hours.
The incident came to light today after police arrested the accused, following a complaint lodged by the victim's family.
According to the complaint, the minor girl had gone for the toilet alone on Wednesday wee hour. Taking this opportunity, the accused duo took the minor girl to a secluded place where they took turns to rape her.
Unable to bear the trauma, the minor girl narrated her ordeal to her parents who lodged a complaint in this regard with the local police.
Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case under relevant Sections of IPC and protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) Act and arrested one of the accused.
The accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim's family and efforts are on to nab another accused who is absconding, police said.
