New Delhi: A Surat-bound passenger on Wednesday was apprehended at the Delhi airport for allegedly carrying five live bullets in his luggage.
During the security check, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official deputed at terminal-2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) detected bullet-like objects in the bag of a passenger identified as Amit Choudhary.
"Five live bullet rounds of .32 mm calibre were recovered from the passenger who was supposed to take a flight to Surat," the official confirmed.
