Dongargarh (Chhattisgarh): Chattisgarh police on Tuesday arrested four persons including a woman, who are believed to be the part of human trafficking and prostitution racket in Dongargarh in Chattisgarh.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Shajda, Junaid Khan, Salman and Shubham, all residents of Raja Nagar.
According to sources, a woman, identified as Vandana Jain (24), a resident of Dongargarh recently lodged a complaint with Dongarhgarh police station alleging that she was abducted by a woman from her house and forced her into flesh trade in Chhattisgarh's Raipur.
Although she managed to break out in Raipur, accused individuals abducted again her and forced her to marry a man named Rajesh in Luharon in Haryana, the police complaint said.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SDOP Chandresh Thakur arrested the four persons from Pilod.
The investigation also found the arrested individuals allegedly had forced several girls, many of them minors, into flesh trade.
The FIR also named three more individuals -- Rekha, Kamla, Raj and Ajay. Police have launched a manhunt to nab these accused. Further investigation is underway, sources added.
