Ben Gurion: With just five days left for Israel's national elections, PM Benjamin Netanyahu left the country to travel to Moscow to meet the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking at Ben Gurion Airport, Netanyahu told reporters he would discuss Syria with the Russian President.
Netanyahu met Putin in February to discuss military coordination between Russia and Israel in neighbouring Syria. In the past year Netanyahu has met Putin three times.
Netanyahu is re-contesting in the Israel prime ministerial elections which are scheduled on April 9.
