Prague: Amid coronavirus lockdown in Prague Zoo, keepers still have something to smile about - the birth of a baby Indian elephant.
The female calf, the offspring of parents Tamara and Ankhor, was born in late March but was presented to a few members of the media on Tuesday.
The shy little pachyderm stayed close to its mum as she explored the elephant enclosure, walking in her shadow and never venturing far from her.
The zoo hopes to slowly reopen some facilities starting in late May and then fully open for visitors in early June.
Guests will have plenty to explore in the zoo then - including 130 baby animals born during the lockdown.
