Gibraltar: 4 Indians of Iranian tanker granted bail

The master of the vessel, chief officer and two other officers have been granted bail.

London: The four Indian crew members who have been detained along with the Iranian oil tanker in Gibraltar have been released on bail without charge on Friday.

The Royal Gibraltar Police in a statement said, "All four crew members of the Grace 1 arrested by the Royal Gibraltar Police have been bailed without charge."

The statement added, "The investigation is still on-going and the Grace 1 continues detained under the provisions."Earlier, Royal Gibraltar Police had detained four Indian nationals on suspicion of breaching EU sanctions for carrying Iranian oil to Syria.
