Sharm El Sheik: German Chancellor Angela Merkel commented on the topics that came up in a meeting at the European Union and Arab League summit on Monday.
Merkel said that Israel was discussed and that Germany's view is that "Israel's right to exist is not negotiable" and that the country "advocates a two-state solution, a Jewish state of Israel and a Palestinian state" and that they must continue to work towards a solution between the two countries.
She also said that there still are "aggressive tendencies from Iran" and that Europe and the Arab must discuss further how to deal with the country, she added that Europe has "continued to commit ourselves to the (nuclear) agreement with Iran."

Leaders from European Union and Arab League countries gathered in Sharm el Sheikh on Monday for the second day of a summit to discuss migration, security and business deals.
They pledged on Sunday to boost cooperation in the fight against terrorism and to tackle unauthorised migration.
