Shitkino: Russia's Irkutsk region continues to suffer from heavy flooding, which has affected thousands residential buildings and killed five people, according to Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry.
The heavy rainfall has caused Lake Baikal and the Angara River to burst their banks.
Over 350 people have been injured, according to Russian officials.
The Russian Emergency Ministry has helped evacuate many who were trapped by floodwaters in boats and helicopters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the flood-stricken region over the weekend on his way back from the G20 summit in Japan.
