Why did Imran Khan choose November 9 for the corridor inauguration?

Hyderabad: In view of 550th birth anniversary of the first guru of Sikh community, Guru Nanak Dev ji, the governments of India and Pakistan are going to open Kartarpur border on November 9 today. The Sikh community has been waiting for this moment for over 73 years, and the entire Sikh community has always been repeated it in its prayers. The Kartarpur intersection is also being compared to the Berlin Wall in Germany.

Importance of November 9:

At the end of World War II, Germany was divided into 4 parts. US, British and French sector became the West Berlin and Soviet region became East Berlin. Between 1949 and 1961, more than 2.6 million East Germans fled to West Germany and Berlin Wall was built in 1961 to prevent it. But on November 9, 1989, political changes in Eastern Europe and civil unrest in Germany forced the government to break this wall. The event sent a message of community outreach worldwide.

Thirty years after the Berlin Wall was broken, history is repeating itself. India and Pakistan are opening a Kartarpur intersection on November 9 to convey a message of mutual brotherhood, which will deliver a message of solidarity worldwide.
