Kemerovo: The Russian army continued its 'Centre 2019' military exercises on Thursday to prepare for possible security threats in Central Asia.
Russian military tanks and self-propelled guns were firing at the Yurginsky shooting range in the Kemerovo region, Central Russia.
In Kazakhstan, short-range ballistic missile system Iskander-M imitated strikes on terrorist positions a hundred kilometres away from launching positions.
The drills are taking place over three days in Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan with the participation of 128-thousand military personnel from Russia, China, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
