New Delhi: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will be on a state visit to India from February 7 to 11, ministry of external affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said on Thursday.
During the visit, Mahinda is scheduled to hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After his official engagement in New Delhi, Mahinda will travel to Varanasi, Sarnath, Bodh Gaya and Tirupati, the external affairs ministry added.

Earlier this month, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held talks with his Sri Lankan counterpart Dinesh Gunawardena in New Delhi on a host of topics, including the sensitive fishermen issue.
