Seoul: After the announcement of Kim-Putin summit date, South Korea on Wednesday had announced that it would hold high-level security consultations with Russia on the same day.
During a press conference, Deputy presidential spokesperson Ko Min-jung said that the Director of South Korea's National Security Office, is scheduled to meet the Nikolai Patrushev Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation in Seoul on Thursday.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is going to meet Putin for the first time in Vladivostok’s Far Eastern Federal University.
In this meeting Kim and Putin talks are expected to focus on Pyongyang's denuclearization and also on possible economic cooperation that could help North Korea to crush with strict UN sanctions.
As per the reports, the spokesperson did not offer any details about the content of the meetings although it is believed that Patrushev, who is very close to the Russian President, will inform Seoul about the agenda scheduled for the summit between Kim and Putin.
