Bishkek: In the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Kyrgyzstan, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has stated that the US is a serious threat for the stability in the Gulf region.
Rouhani targeted US in a meeting in SCO. He said that the US has used its economic and military power to create an unstable situation in the region. In the past two years, the US government has violated all the international structures and regulations.
During his speech, he also mentioned the US exit from the nuclear deal. He has framed US's withdrawal decision from the deal as the main reason for his country's economic instability.
The SCO, which is often viewed as the eastern alliance, currently has eight member countries – China, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
