Manila: President Ram Nath Kovind paid an official visit to the Malacañang Palace in Manila on Friday, as part of his five-day stay in the Philippines.
The visit follows the invitation by the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte to strengthen India-Philippines relations.
Part of the visit to the presidential palace includes the two leaders witnessing the exchange of bilateral agreements that include cooperation in the areas of the maritime domain, security, tourism, science and technology and culture.
Officials say that the visit marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
