Islamabad: In an explosion near the Line of Control (LoC), five Pakistani Army soldiers were killed and one injured.
The Pakistan military's wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the blast took place in the Chamb sector.
The ISPR added that the nature of the explosion is not yet known.
Those killed have been identified as Subedar Muhammad Sadiq, Naik Sher Zaman and sepoys Muhammad Tayyab, Zohaib and Ghulam Qasim.
The incident was "evident of state-sponsored terrorism".
