Tokyo: As many as three people were killed and more than 19 including 13 children sustained serious injuries after a man wielding a knief attacked them in Japanese city of Kawasaki on early Tuesday.
According to Japan's national broadcaster NHK a man with a knife attacked people lined up at the bus stop in Kawasaki City.
The wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals.
The male suspect, likely in his 40s to 50s, was later detained by police. Two knives were seized from his possession.
