Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 3,14,82,599 and killed over 9,69,298 people across the world. More than 2,31,10,085 people have recovered so far.
The US is the worst-hit country with the world's highest number of cases more than 70,46,216 and fatalities over 2,04,506.
Trump has escalated his promise for a coronavirus vaccine before Election Day. But Democrats, independents and even some Republicans do not trust the Trump administration to produce a safe and effective vaccine on such an aggressive timeline.
India comes in second place in terms of cases which is more than 55,60,105, while the country's death toll is over 88,965.
Brazil currently accounts for the second-highest number of fatalities that is over 1,37,350.
