Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 2,48,97,614 and killed over 8,40,649 people across the world. More than 1,72,86,392 people have recovered so far.
The US accounted for the world's highest number of COVID-19 cases. It has recorded more than 60,94,890 and over 1,80,000.
Brazil came in the second place with more than 38,00,000 infections and over 1,19,000 deaths.
Malaysia has extended its pandemic movement restrictions including banning foreign tourists until the end of the year. Malaysia has recorded more than 9,000 cases with 125 deaths. Borders will stay closed and those entering the country will be quarantined.
