A week after the attack, a vigil for victims of Sri Lanka bombings was held. The prayers at the vigil was led by the archbishop of Colombo.

Colombo: The archbishop of Colombo led prayers at a vigil in memory of the victims of Sri Lanka's Easter Sunday bombings, a week after the attack.

Soldiers patrolled the gathering in Colombo on Sunday evening as the country remained on edge as authorities have pursued suspects with possible access to explosives.

Mourners lit candles outside the Lake House building as religious leaders of different faiths prayed inside the state-run newspaper publishing house.

At least 250 were killed in blasts across several sites in the capital, mainly hotels and churches, on 21 April.

The attacks were then followed by the deaths of at least 15 people, when militants opened fire and set off explosives in suicide bombings as police conducted a raid at a safe house in the eastern district of Ampara on Saturday.
