6 killed in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan

Six members of a family died on the spot after an explosion took place in Kandahar province. Till now no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Kabul: A bomb blast in Kandahar province on Tuesday has claimed lives of six members of a family. The blast occurred at 9 a.m. in Dand district when a civilian vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb planted by militants.

Two women, two young men and two children died on the spot.

According to the police, victims were the members of a family. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
