New York: During his maiden address at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan targeted India's volunteer Hindu organistaion Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) saying the organisation is akin to Nazis and believes in the ethnic cleansing of Muslim community.
"These RSS goons are inspired by Hitler's brown shirt, they actually wear brown shirts," Imran Khan said from the podium of the UNGA hall.
In an attempt to criticise RSS, Imran Khan could not pronounciate correctly the name of Hindu Mahasabha leader, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
The cricketer-turned-politician also hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP's campaign during 2019 polls for using anti-Pakistan rhetoric to garner public support.
The Islamic republic is battered by New Delhi's move to abrogate article 370 of its constitution that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
Islamabad has been attempting to raise the issue at international forums, however, New Delhi has maintained that abrogation of Article 370 is strictly its 'internal matter'.
