While touring the southern border in Arizona, Vice president Mike Pence called an end to loopholes in the law. He also said that this change will allow the government to return individuals who were apprehended illegal migrants to their country.

Arizona: To keep a check on the migrants, Vice president Mike Pence who was on a visit to the southern border of Arizona on Thursday called an end to the 'loopholes' in the law. The main cause behind his call was that loopholes in the law helped human traffickers and drug cartels entice vulnerable families to enter the country illegally.

He also said that the amendment in law will allow the government to return apprehended illegal migrants to their nations and be more flexible in their detention. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that bipartisan talks are aimed at resolving immigration and border security problems.

Speaking to media Mc Connell said that in the recent times number of migrants who trying to enter US have increased. President Donald Trump has responded to the surge by shaking up his Department of Homeland Security team complaining that US asylum laws are too lax.
