Authorities say a 93-year-old woman heading to a water exercise class drove her car into an indoor pool in central Missouri on Tuesday. Crews worked to remove the vehicle on Wednesday without damaging the pool.

Laurie, Missouri: Many managed a close shave after a 93-year-old woman heading to a water exercise class drove her car into an indoor pool in central Missouri on Tuesday.

According to Station KSPR, a class was in session when the incident occurred, but no one was hurt.

Rescue crews worked to remove the vehicle on Wednesday without damaging the pool.

"It was a miracle that no one was hurt, no one was - even the person in the car wasn't hurt," Randy Morlock, Swims at Westlake Aquatic Center said.
