Vicky Kaushal reacted to a viral clip that seemingly showed him being blocked by superstar Salman Khan's security team. On Friday, the video from the sidelines of the 2023 IIFA Awards and Weekend went viral on social media, showing Khan's security team seemingly pushing the Sardar Udham actor when he stopped to greet Salman.

Abu Dhabi: International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2023 in Abu Dhabi stirred up controversy after a video surfaced showing Salman Khan's bodyguards pushing Vicky Kaushal on Thursday. The viral video is from IIFA press conference which was attended by Vicky, Abhishek Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Nora Fatehi, and Salman who arrived late for the event.

At the IIFA Rocks green carpet, Vicky was even asked about the incident. Reacting to the viral clip, Vicky, said, "Kayi baar bahut baatein badh jaati hain (Sometimes things are blown out of proportion). There is unnecessary chatter about many things. Things are not actually as they seem sometimes in the video. There is no point in talking about that."

In fact, Vicky and Salman met each other on the green carpet and shared a warm hug, putting an end to reports claiming that something ain't well between the duo. Vicky is hosting IIFA this time with Abhishek Bachchan, while Salman is one of the star performers.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Vicky is gearing up for the release of his film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke helmed by Laxman Utekar. He stars opposite Sara Ali Khan in the film which will release in theatres on June 2. On the other hand, Salman, who was last seen in lackluster Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is all set to come up with Tiger 3. The film which is part of Yash Raj Films' spy universe also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. As promised by Salman during IIFA presser, Tiger 3 will arrive in theaters this Diwali.
