Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela was spotted at the Mumbai airport ahead of the 76th Cannes Film Festival in France. On Monday night as she arrived for her flight, the star was seen looking mesmerising in a red short dress. The actor is expected to show up at the photocall for the biopic on Parveen Babi, in which she plays the starring role. A video of Urvashi Rautela taken at the airport was posted by a paparazzi account on Instagram in which she can be seen stylishly approaching the entrance gate.

She was wearing a short red latex dress, paired with matching boots and a bag. She completed her look with a checkered shirt that she wrapped around her waist. The actor posed for the shutterbugs stationed at the airport before leaving for France.
In a statement confirming her Cannes presence, Urvashi remarked, "Yes, you heard right. I have officially signed the contract as the lead actor in the Parveen Babi biography. As one of the world's most prominent film festivals and a crucial career milestone, I am sincerely grateful to the Cannes Film Festival." However, this is not the first time that the Hate Story 4 actor will be gracing the Cannes red carpet.

Urvashi made her red carpet debut at Cannes last year in a white gown with ruffles. The same day, she strolled wearing a black gown to the festival. She also pinned a photo on Instagram about making her Cannes debut with the caption, "Cannes Film Festival Day 1." The post depicts Urvashi posing on the red carpet while wearing a stunning white gown.
Talking about her projects, Urvashi's next web series Inspector Avinash's trailer was dropped on Monday. The Neerraj Pathak-produced show, which features Urvashi, Amit Sial, Abhimanyu Singh, Shalin Bhanot, Freddy Daruwala, Rahul Mittra, and Adhyayan Suman, also stars Randeep Hooda as a police officer. It will be available for streaming on Jio Cinema's OTT platform from May 18.
