Hyderabad: Samantha Ruth Prabhu has appeared in a new advertisement in which she makes a statement about women marrying at their own discretion, returning to work at their own pace, and doing action sequences in films. Sharing the ad on her Instagram handle, Samantha wrote: "Duniya kheechegi neeche, but you gotta rise up baby!" (The world will bring you down, but you must rise, baby.)"

Samantha appears in the video as a bride in a mandap wearing a beige lehenga and sporting hair fringe. A wedding guest remarks on how girls should marry at the appropriate age. To this, Samantha responds by saying, "Time pe nahi, marzi se honi chahiye" (not at the right time, but at her own will).

In another scene, she is seen wearing a short skirt on her way home from work. The watchman passes a comment, saying, "Kaunsa kaam raat ke 12 baje khatam hota hai" (which job requires the employee to work until midnight). Samantha replies that it doesn't even end at midnight.

Samantha is next seen on the set of an action film, where her co-star claims that action in films is done by the hero. Samantha dismisses him and goes on to shoot her action scenes, saying, "Par is film ki hero to main hu (but I am the hero of this film)." Samantha concludes the ad by saying, "Sab ki sunoge to khud ki kab karoge (if you listen to others, when will you do as per yourself)."

Samantha is currently filming her action web series Citadel which will be the Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers' Citadel. She has several action sequences in the show and was also seen doing some serious action in her first web series The Family Man 2. Despite suffering from Myositis, she continues to work.
