Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is apparently planning to build a luxurious hotel in Mumbai along with his family. Khans are constructing a hotel in a prime location and have reserved a sea-facing plot on Carter Road in Bandra. The building plan approved by BMC shows a 19-storey hotel.
According to a report, the plot originally belonged to the Starlet CHS residential building, where the Khans had bought apartments and had initially planned to renovate the property into a residential building. The family, however, seems to have altered their plans. as a proposal to build a hotel was submitted in the name of the actor's mother, Salma Khan, over a year ago.
The report also stated that the Khans' architect, Sapre & Associates, has now shared an updated modified plan for a "commercial centrally air-conditioned building with a height of 69.90 metres" under the city's new Development Control & Promotion Regulation (DCPR-2034). The property will have three-level basements.

There will be a cafe and restaurant on the first and second floors, a gym and swimming pool on the third floor, and a service floor on the fourth floor. Apparently, the 5th and 6th floors will have the convention centre and the 7th to 19th floors will be for hotel use. While there is no sign of construction on the family's plot yet, a building stands there, which will be refurbished to make an opulent hotel. In 2011, Salman's father Salim Khan revealed that they frequently purchase real estate.
On the movie front, Salman is currently recovering from a shoulder injury that he sustained while shooting for his forthcoming movie Tiger 3. He also appeared in a cameo in the popular movie Pathaan. The last time we saw Salman was in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie received mixed reviews from fans and critics.
