Hyderabad: Mani Ratnum's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2's first weekend turned out to be a successful run at the box office. The epic drama brought in a respectable sum of Rs 80 crore in its first three days at the box office in the domestic circuit. As of right now, it has also passed the crucial first Monday test after recording a double-digit collection on day four.
The Vikram-Aishwarya Rai starrer made Rs 24 crore on its fourth day, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. With this, the movie has officially entered the Rs 100 crore club. The current domestic gross stands at Rs 105.02 crore.
