Hyderabad: Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Palak Tiwari's acting debut, will hit theatres soon. She recalled assisting director Mahesh Manjrekar on Antim: The Final Truth and talked about her first time working with Salman Khan (2021). The movie stars Salman and according to Palak, he had a dress code for women working on Antim's set.
The 2021 music video for Bijlee Bijlee by Harrdy Sandhu featured Palak, actor Shweta Tiwari's daughter. Her Bollywood debut will be in the Salman Khan film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles. Palak recently claimed that Salman Khan had a rule about how women should dress on his set in a recent interview.
'I don't think many people are aware of this, but Salman Sir had a rule when I was ADing with him on Antim that for every girl on his set, the neckline should be here. All the girls were required to be covered, like good proper girls. My mother thus relieved as I used to dress in joggers and a proper shirt. She would ask surprised: Where are you going? How did you get dressed so nicely? So I told her that I am going for Salman Sir's set. 'Wow, very good,' she would say.
When asked about the reasons behind the rules governing women, Palak referred to Salman as "a traditionalist. He says "Jo pehenna hai pehno" (Dress however you like), but he also constantly says "My girls should always be protected." He doesn't trust anyone in his personal space, so if there are any men, he says, "The girl should always be safe."
The debut movie of Palak Tiwari Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be released on April 21 in theatres. The film is helmed by Farhad Samji. One of Palak's upcoming projects is The Virgin Tree with Sanjay Dutt.
