Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha dropped a video on her official Instagram handle thanking the Indian government, the Indian embassy and the Israel embassy for their cooperation in bringing her back to her country safe and sound. For the unversed, Nushrratt went untraceable in the war hit Israel. In the video, she describes the horrible experience and how she got over it. Nushrratt was in Israel for the Haifa International Film Festival as the region saw heightened conflict as a result of Hamas attacks in the country's southern regions.

The actor has now released a lengthy statement explaining the hardships she encountered in the harrowing 36 hours of being stuck in war-hit foreign land. She arrived safely in Mumbai on October 8. However, the actress appeared disturbed as she exited the Mumbai airport.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which began in the mid-twentieth century, is still raging throughout the Levant. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue as part of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, as well as other efforts to resolve the larger Arab-Israeli conflict, it remains one of the world's longest-running hostilities. The casualty toll from Hamas' multi-front offensive on Israel passed 300 on Sunday and is anticipated to grow further. According to reports, 1,590 people have been injured, with many of them critical.

Talking about Nushrratt, she recently appeared in Pranay Meshram's Akelli, which was released last month. The film is about an Indian woman who gets stuck in war-torn Iraq and fights for survival against all difficulties. It is bankrolled by Dashami Studioz' Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, and Aparna Padgaonkar along with Vicky Sidana and Shashant Shah.
