Mumbai: Actor Jyotika is all set to return to Hindi films after over two decades. The actor will be joining Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan in the upcoming supernatural thriller, directed by Vikas Bahl. Jyotika is returning to Hindi films after 25 years and will be seen sharing screen space with Ajay for the very first time.
For unversed, Jyotika made her Bollywood debut with Priyadarshan's 1998 released romantic drama Doli Saja Ke Rakhna. In the film, she starred alongside Akshaye Khanna. Following this, she predominantly worked in Tamil films with a few far-placed Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Jyotika was last seen in the Tamil drama film Udanpirappe.
The film is reportedly titled Sri and will go on floors this June. Details about the film are still under wraps except for its shooting locations. The film is said to be mounted on a lavish budget and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie, and London. Vikas, who is known for his National Award-winning film Queen, is apparently leaving no stone unturned to churn out an edge-of-the-seat thriller with powerhouse actors like Ajay, Madhavan, and Jyothika.

Starring aside, Ajay will also be donning a producer's hat for the film. The film will be jointly bankrolled by Ajay and Drishyam makers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner Ajay Devgn Ffilm and Panorama Studios. The makers will be unravelling more information about the film soon.
Meanwhile, Ajay was last seen in Bholaa which grossed Rs 112 crore worldwide. Prior to that, he delivered a humongous box office hit in Drishyam 2. The film had registered a whopping Rs 345 crore worldwide business.
