Hyderabad: The makers of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan starrer upcoming aerial actioner Fighter have locked trailer release date for the film. Taking to social media, the makers announced Fighter trailer will drop on January 15. Mirroring the promotional blueprint of Shah Rukh Khan's recent release -- music first, trailer later--the makers of Fighter treated fans with three songs while the trailer will be dropped close to film's release.
Marflix Pictures, the production banner, shared the exciting news on Instagram along with a captivating poster featuring the lead actors' first look. The caption reads, "Target is locked and loaded. #FighterTrailer on 15th January, 12:00 PM IST. #Fighter Forever 🇮🇳."
The film's teaser, released on December 8, 2023, has garnered positive responses, showcasing Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni), and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky). The 1-minute 14-second teaser showcases high-flying aerial stunts and offers glimpses of three well-received songs: Sher Khul Gaye, Ishq Jaisa Kuch, and Heer Aasmani, composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani. The teaser concludes with a party track featuring the cast and a memorable kissing scene between Hrithik and Deepika, set against the backdrop of the uplifting tune Sujlam Suflam.
Fighter marks the first on-screen pairing of Deepika and Hrithik. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is all set to hit big screens on January 25. Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 250 crore, Fighter boasts of adrenaline-pumping aerial stunts. Fighter is primarily shot at air bases with real Indian fighter planes Sukhois at Tezpur Air Force Station in Assam, Dundigal Air Force Academy near Hyderabad and Pahalgam Base in Kashmir.
