Hyderabad: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding was a private event, and the couple wanted their photos and videos to reflect the intimacy. In a recent interview, the wedding filmmaker spilled the beans and decoded the wedding pictures that broke the internet. Alia and Ranbir tied the knot at their Mumbai home with only close friends and family members in attendance.
Siddharth Sharma, who founded House on the Clouds, claimed in an interview that while the wedding was joyful, there was also an emotional moment when Ranbir picked up the photo of his father late Rishi Kapoor, who passed away in 2020. Talking about the pictures, he said: "With Alia, the brief was very straightforward; she wanted to keep it very private and personal, so the photos and videos needed to reflect that."

In almost every ceremony, Rishi Kapoor's picture was displayed as though he were there. A photograph was kept throughout the ceremony in his memory. Even though people were dancing, it was still a very emotional moment when Ranbir Kapoor held a picture of Rishi Kapoor, he added.

Sharma further said that Alia was surprised by Neetu Kapoor's dance performance. This was a surprise performance for Alia as she was unaware that mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor would perform together. Speaking candidly about Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra's wedding, he shared that the first photo of the couple holding hands was candid. It is a lovely part of the ceremony, where they were supposed to fold hands as a sign of respect and look into each other's eyes.
