New Delhi: Condemning NDA's seat-sharing formula in Bihar, BJP MP from Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha Satish Chandra Dubey alleged that the seat being handed over to Janata Dal United's (JD-U) Vaidhyanath Mahato is a part of the conspiracy. He claimed that he will contest elections as an independent candidate from the constituency.
He said, "Wrong information was passed about my work by Bihar BJP to the central leadership. I have defeated Mahato by a huge margin in 2014."
Further taking a dig at both NDA and the Mahagatbandhan, Dubey said, "The candidates pitched in by JD(U) and Mahagatbandhan are no match. They are pitching in candidates who do not belong to the area."
Clarifying his stand, Dubey said that he is not contesting elections from the Congress or having anything against the BJP.
He said that despite knowing the fact that BJP may initiate disciplinary action against him that will lead to suspension, he added that he is ready to face any consequence for his decision to fight as an independent candidate from the constituency.
